GRIMSHAW INVESTMENTS AND CONSTRUCTION:
Stephen Grimshaw established Grimshaw Investments in 1990 to provide decent and affordable housing in Wyoming. He conducted comprehensive research in property development, financing options, and applications in federal housing programs. The company began to focus primarily on the construction, ownership and management of low-income, multi-family rental housing in Sheridan. After the success of the Sheridan projects, Steve began to receive calls from other communities in Wyoming seeking similar projects. To date, the company has successfully completed the design, development, construction, and management of 19 Tax Credit funded and HOME funded properties for low-income families. We are presently responsible for the ownership and management of over 400 affordable rental units in 7 Wyoming cities and 12 market rate properties.

Developing affordable housing is a difficult area of expertise that most builders choose not to participate in due to the complexities involved. Nevertheless, the demand for affordable housing remains very strong in Wyoming, especially during recent times of economic hardship. Because of the magnitude of the company's varied projects, it has been crucial to work with local and national lending institutions, engineers, architects, attorneys, sub-contractors, Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA), and tax-credit specialists, to name just a few.
Grimshaw Investments is the first Wyoming Company to introduce a registered LEED multi-family project in Wyoming. These projects showcase a permanent NEA (National Endowment of the Art) public art project on the corner of Beech and Collins Street in Casper, WY.

For the coming year of 2017 we are excited to announce that we will be developing a 70-unit senior housing project on the Fairgrounds property in Casper, Wyoming. Additionally, on the same site a property of 32-unit barrier-free single level twin homes will be available for sale. In Sheridan, Wyoming a 24-unit senior project and a 24-unit family rental project is also planned.

The company's main office building is located in Sheridan, Wyoming. We also have a satellite office in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
